The Grace Collection is the second line of branded shawls by Modesty Hut and the next step in their sustainable business journey.
The shawls are made of 100% modal fabric derived from wood pulp, made in a low toxicity manufacturing facility, packaged in a biodegradable/compostable bag.

Care Instructions:
Laundry:
- Please follow instructions to prolong the life of your hijab/shawl
- Wash in cold water using a very mild detergent by hand or machine wash on delicate cycle in a laundry bag with similar fabrics and colours.
- For a natural alternative, use a dash of vinegar for optimal care. This will keep the natural fabric soft and protect the colour and fabric.
- Do not spot clean or soak.
- Do not use stain removing detergents.
- Do not rub the natural fabric.
- Do not wring to release excess water if hand washing.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Do not dry in direct sunlight.
- Dry in shade and iron on a silk setting.
- Can be dry cleaned.
Use of pins
- We recommend using hijab magnet clips
- If using pins, the fabric may snag and make holes so please use with care by using a sharp pin and keeping fabric loose for movement to avoid fabric pulling and making holes.

Colours may vary due to photography/monitor lighting and/or manufacturing.
- Minor defects may be present due to the nature of the natural fabric and weave.
- When hand washing you may experience a small amount of what looks like a colour run, but rest assured it is the ecofriendly fixers that seal in the colour, not the actual dye. It will subside after the first few washes. By using laundry softener or vinegar, it will act as a sealer of the natural dye and softener of fabric. Avoid using any harsh laundry and stain removing detergents as this will break down the fixers.
- The fabric is a natural and biodegradable fibre so it will deteriorate over time. The longevity is dependent on how you treat the fabric so follow all care instructions.
